Charcoal From Sugarcane Bagasse

After carbonization, charcoal is the main end product. Parts of our customers plan to use charcoal as fuel for BBQ, cement factories, steel and iron factories, and ceramics. Other parts of customers plan to use charcoal as fertilizer. It is a good material for adjusting soil components that can increase the nutrient of the soil.

Wood Vinegar

Wood vinegar is widely used in agriculture. It is suitable for anti-insect fungicides, pesticide intermediates, and soil amendment. Because wood vinegar is made from biomass waste, it is natural and eco-friendly. Therefore, it is popular in the markets.

Tar

Tar is a dark brown or black viscous liquid. It has a good waterproof function. So, it is a common material that is used as a water-repellent coating for boats, ships, and roofs. Also, it is the basic raw material for smelting bio-diesel.

Biogas

It is recycled to heat the carbonization furnace. It makes the system more efficient and greatly reduces fuel costs.

Why It Is Feasible To Make Charcoal From Sugarcane Bagasse?

Sugarcane bagasse is a kind of solid end-product material. After crushing sugarcane, the bagasse is left. It is feasible to make sugarcane charcoal. Here, we would like to list some of the reasons for you. If you are interested, please see the followings:

Cheap and abundant raw material

In a sugar factory, you would get about three tonnes of wet bagasse from crushing every 10 tonnes of sugarcane. There is a large quantity of sugarcane bagasse in the sugar factory. The juice from the sugarcane can be made into high-value candies. The bagasse is a waste for the sugar factory. So, it is very cheap to get the bagasse. The raw material cost is cheap. Then, you would get a high ROI from the business.

Good biofuel raw material

Sugarcane bagasse is a kind of biomass that has a carbon component. It is known to us that sugarcane bagasse is a good biofuel raw material. When we gather it together and burn it in quantity, sugarcane bagasse would produce enough heat energy. Therefore, we can keep sugarcane bagasse to make charcoal with a sugarcane bagasse charcoal making machine. In the state of charcoal, it has the advantages of higher thermal value, clean, easy storage, and easy transportation.

How To Make Charcoal From Sugarcane Bagasse?

How to dispose of sugarcane bagasse into charcoal with a sugarcane bagasse charcoal machine? See the description and video to learn about the carbonization process now! If you still have questions? Welcome to contact us freely at any time. Also, you can see Youtube to get information from different sites.

Step 1- Drying:

With a dryer, it can remove unnecessary water from sugarcane bagasse. Because of the high moisture content – appropriately 40-50 percent, drying is an essential part of sugarcane bagasse carbonization.

Step 2- Feeding:

Usually, we equip the belt conveyor to complete feeding. Dried sugarcane bagasse can enter the furnace orderly and evenly with the belt conveyor.

Step 3- Carbonization process:

The carbonization process is actually the dry distillation process of the material under high-temperature conditions. After continuously heating the furnace, the temperature is rising. When the temperature reaches above 300 degrees, the internal molecules in the bagasse would decompose and form biochar, wood vinegar, tar, and non-condensable gas products (combustible gas).

Step 4- Packaging:

The charcoal can be packaged in bags or boxes. Then, transport charcoal to the market to make money.
