What Is Thermal Desorption Process?
For flowing slurry or paste-like oil sludge with high moisture content, it’s better to use the bucket elevator or excavator to convey. For earthy oily sludge with low water content, you can use the excavator forklift and belt conveyor or screw conveyor to convey. Oil sludge should be loaded to the pyrolysis reactor for processing.
In the pyrolysis reactor, it is an oxygen-free and sealed condition. With the temperature rising to 200-450℃, oil sludge can be decomposed into oil, water, sand, and other residues. Heavy oil will drop into the heavy oil tank. light oil gas will go into the condenser to be liquefied into fuel oil and then will go to the oil tank.
Hot smoke can be cooled down in the condenser. Then, smoke enters into four steps of the de-dusting process: water washing, water spray, ceramic ring adsorption, and activated carbon adsorption. After that, the smoke is clean that can be released into the atmosphere directly.
